Our story
Rooted in adventure. Grounded in purpose.
Rock Lizard Adventure is a trekking and mountaineering organisation at heart. Founded byVinod Chandra Bhatt and based in Almora, Uttarakhand (Kumaon + Garhwal), we believe exploring nature can bring fitness, discipline and enjoyment together, while deepening our respect for the outdoors.
Our name reflects that belief. Just as a lizard holds firmly to the rock, we hold on to our values with determination: care for nature, a willingness to learn and the courage to meet a challenge.
From treks and expeditions to outdoor learning for students, we create opportunities to step beyond familiar surroundings. Our aim is to help people build confidence, work together and discover a more active, responsible relationship with the natural world.
